Culburra Beach is a popular spot for surfing as well as beach fishing, or you can hire a boat from nearby Greenwell Point. You may be Honeymoon-Baylucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins off the beach, or head down to Huskisson for a whale/ dolphin watching cruise or enjoy a scenic cruise along the Shoalhaven River. Cycle paths surround the town so bring your bikes or a limited selection is available for hire in the town.

Newly constructed in June 2008, the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre is considered one of the most versatile venues in Australia. The Centre features a 914-seat auditorium, 192-seat studio and conference facilities. Retractable seating is installed in both the auditorium and studio allowing for a great deal of flexibility and diversity of use. In a flat floor model, the auditorium has a capacity for 1000-1200 general floor admission and 200 reserved seating. Explore the local walking tracks including Crookhaven Heads, or take a drive to Currarong on the Beecroft Peninsula and head to the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse in the National Park (no dogs). Stop for a swim at the beautiful Honeymoon Bay (pictured). 

The historic towns of Berry and Kangaroo Valley make great day trips and there are many local wineries, craft shops, cafes and markets. 

 

Take in 9 holes at the Callala Bay Golf course, the more challenging Nowra course or the spectacular Kangaroo Valley championship course.
